Manningtree Station (3.2 miles)

This is the nearest major station, located on the Great Eastern Main Line operated by Greater Anglia. It provides direct links from London Liverpool Street, Colchester, Ipswich, and Norwich. From Manningtree, take the 104 bus from the nearby Skinners Arms stop or catch a 5-minute taxi to Bradfield.

Mistley Station (1.7 miles)

Located on the Mayflower Line (Harwich Town to Manningtree shuttle), this station is closer geographically. You can pick up the westbound 104 bus from Mistley High Street (Mistley Old Post Office) to reach Bradfield. Disembark at the village maid bus stop

Bradfield is well served by local public transport connecting major towns:

  • Route 104 (First Essex): This main route runs between Colchester city centre and Harwich.
  • Key Stop: Disembark at The Village Maid bus stop in Bradfield. Chapters Coffee & Wine is a short walk from this stop. Buses run roughly every 20 to 30 minutes throughout the day. 

By Road

Traveling by car is straightforward, and the venue offers plenty of dedicated on-site parking:

  • From Colchester / Manningtree: Head east on the B1352 (Harwich Road) through Mistley. Follow the road as it enters Bradfield and turns into The Street. Chapters will be on your left.
  • From the A120: If you are coming via the A120 dual carriageway, take the exit near Wix toward Bradfield. Follow Bradfield Road north straight into the village until you reach the junction with The Street.
